Project Description

 

The goal  of the research was to improvise the design and production method, through the use of state of the art Digital Tools & Innovative Materials. Laser Sintering technology and polyurethane (TPU) or polyamide material is used for production. 

 

The process was carried out through Parametric Design method. Using 3d scanner it is possible to take exact size shape of a person's body leading to a customized design outfit. Application of these parametric techniques gives the possibility to design multiple options by simply varying the parameters . The process was carried out in successive stages with different degrees of porosity. The design was created by the superimposition of several layers in order to  form points more rigid and manipulating the porosity
