[  ] Key Software / Tech to be taught

Maya, Keyshot (Visualization)

[  ] Workshop Description

The 2-day intense workshop would primarily focus on Basic & Intermediate aspects of using Maya for Fluid Form Modelling. The approach of fluid modelling using Maya can be utilised in architecture and other varied design disciplines. The workshop would introduce participants to Polygonal mesh modelling using Maya and build upon a workflow to create animations, rendering, and exchange data / geometry with Rhino3D for further articulation. Parametric methods of 3D modelling using a workflow in Maya and Rhino3D would be explored and discussed with participants carrying out modelling of fluid objects, buildings and spaces. Keyshot would be used for visualizing and rendering to get an output.

Architectural elements and detailing would be taught using Maya for fluid forms and case studies would be shown to give a practical clarity to participants on use of Maya in architectural practice.
