[  ] Workshop Description

The Grasshopper3D Fundamentals Workshop will introduce participants to the Fundamental Concepts and Essential Skills necessary for effectively designing with Grasshopper for Rhinoceros. We will cover concepts such as Object Attributes/Parameters, Data Types, Data Structures, and Designing with Algorithms. The workshop will also focus on creating and manipulating both Lists and Data Trees as well as best practices for integrating Grasshopper into your Professional Workflow. In this 2day workshop we will parametrically design real structures using Grasshopper and other tools introducing you to many add-ons. The chosen structures are the Formstelle Format by Elf Architekten, the Nine Bridges by Shigeru Ban, the Serpentine Pavilion by BIG Architects and The Vessel by Heatherwick Studio. We will be using Pufferfish, Human, Lunchbox and Nudibranch as tools for designing the structures.
